Hi, I’m James, the DJ behind JB Entertainments.

I’m a North Bristol-based DJ with a passion for creating unforgettable weddings, parties and events across the South West. I live in Yate with my wife Hayley (pictured with me) and our two children, Harry and Lizzie. Hayley and I have been married since 2009, and family life has given me a real appreciation for how important great celebrations and shared moments really are.

My love of music and DJing began in the 1990s, and I bought my first turntables in 2000. Since launching my first mobile disco service in 2006, I’ve built up years of experience performing at a wide range of events, with weddings becoming a particular favourite. In 2014, I joined The Celebration Roadshow, one of the region’s established and award-winning wedding entertainment companies, where I gained extensive experience performing at weddings and larger events.

When you book with JB Entertainments, you deal directly with me — the DJ who will actually be there on the day. That means clear communication, personal planning and the reassurance of knowing exactly who you’re booking from the very start.

I’m known for bringing a friendly, professional and personalised approach to every event. For me, great DJing is about more than just music — it’s about understanding your vision, reading the crowd, creating the right atmosphere and helping your celebration flow naturally from start to finish.
